This opportunity seeks a skilled MRI Technologist to perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures on patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics. Operating a mobile MRI unit, the role requires floating between two sites on a scheduled basis, delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities Include
- Conducting optimal MRI procedures with attention to image quality and patient safety
- Modifying shifts as needed to maintain smooth department workflow during peak demand times
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining professionalism with patients, physicians, and staff
- Adhering to all department policies and assisting with additional duties as assigned
Qualifications And Experience
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital setting preferred
- Knowledge of human growth and development across all age groups
- Strong communication skills to interact with healthcare professionals and patients effectively
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under stress with uncooperative patients
- Current BLS (AHA only) certification
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification/registry required within 6 months of hire
Schedule
- Work 36 hours per week
- WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY at one hospital location, FRIDAY and SATURDAY at a second hospital location on a mobile MRI unit
- Shift hours alternate weekly between 7:30 AM6:00 PM and 7:30 AM8:00 PM
- Every other Saturday required; no on-call obligations
